Van ministry

We are praying for a van, coach or bus, to be able to provide door-to-door transportation for children, teens, and adults who would otherwise not be able to come to church. We have willing workers, who are experienced and safe, presently bringing visitors in their own cars. If you would like to sign up for a free ride to church, please call us at (606) 929-5808.

Children’s ministries

God loves children, and we believe that children should be an important part of church. At Crossroads, there is something for everyone!

• Nursery

During every service, we provide a clean and safe environment with caring workers, so parents will have peace of mind while enjoying our services. Nursery is provided for newborns through 3 years of age.

• Sunday school

It is amazing what your child can learn, every Sunday morning.  They will sing new songs, quote scripture verses, display their crafts and share with you the important truths they are learning from the Bible.  The teachers and workers are dedicated, compassionate, and excited to be a small part of the life of your child.

• Junior church

During the main service on Sunday mornings, children who are K4 – 6th grade can enjoy a fun-filled hour of exciting Bible stories and songs, puppets, games, and yummy snacks!

Media ministry

Each service is recorded and is available upon request, for those who missed the service, so they can make sure that they stay connected.

Worldwide missions

We currently support twenty missionary families, who serve here in the States and around the world. We support them both financially and with prayer. We receive regular correspondence about their respective fields and look forward to hearing first-hand, how God has blessed them, when they come back to visit their supporting churches.  For a complete list of those we support, click here.

Music ministry

We believe that music plays a vital role in every church service by preparing the heart for the preaching of the Word of God. For this reason, we sing Christ-honoring psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Each week, you are guaranteed to be encouraged in the song service.

Outreach ministry

We want to be faithful to the Great Commission! Each week, members of our church are actively involved in reaching our community with the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our scheduled times are:

Care Home ministry

Every Thursday morning at 11:00 AM, we bring Christ to a care home when visit, by singing uplifting hymns, sharing scripture passages and encouraging the residents.

Public ministry

Many people today have forgotten about God. For this reason, we take the message of the Gospel out on the streets around us. We pass out tracts, hold Scripture signs and banners, and even do a little bit of open-air preaching.

Veterans’ ministry

Freedom isn’t free!  It has been said, “All gave some; some gave all.” Although the pandemic has temporarily paused our Vets2Vets ministry, where veterans in our church reach out to other veterans with the Gospel of Jesus Christ; we prayerfully look forward to the great honor and privilege to minister to those who have sacrificed for the freedoms that we so richly enjoy just like we used to every 5^th Sunday of the year, we minister at the West Virginia Veterans Home in Barboursville, WV.
